Privacy Policy

Account details: your name, email address and role, set up when your company invites you.

What you enter: projects, estimates, files, vendor and bid details, proposals, and the contact details of clients you send proposals to.

QuickBooks data: when an administrator connects QuickBooks Online, we read your company’s accounting records, such as company details, customers, vendors, accounts, items and expense transactions.

Technical data: the cookies that keep you signed in, and the standard server logs our hosting providers keep, such as IP address and browser type.

Only to run the service for your company: to show your estimates and job costs, to send the invitations, password resets and proposals you ask us to send, and to keep the service secure. We do not sell your information, use it for advertising, or run analytics or advertising trackers.

We reach QuickBooks only through Intuit’s official connection, which your administrator approves. We read accounting data only; we never create, change or delete anything in your books. The access tokens Intuit issues are stored encrypted and are never shown in your browser. The data is used only inside your company’s own workspace. You can disconnect at any time from Settings in ShossyWorks or from your Intuit account, and disconnecting stops all further access.

We use a few service providers to run ShossyWorks, and they handle information only on our behalf:

• Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage
• Vercel: hosting
• Microsoft Azure Communication Services: sending email

We also share information with the people you choose, such as the clients you send a proposal to, and when the law requires it. We share it with no one else.

Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Every company’s information is kept separate from every other’s, and within a company each person sees only what their role allows.

We keep your company’s information while your company uses ShossyWorks. To have it deleted, including any data read from QuickBooks, email us at zszostak@szostakdesign.com.

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by emailing us. Your company’s administrator can also update or remove your account.

ShossyWorks is a business tool and is not meant for anyone under 18.

If we update this policy, we will change the effective date above. For significant changes, we will tell your company’s administrator.
